WWRC March Meeting: Minnesota Cooks at Farmers Kitchen + Bar

  • Farmers Kitchen + Bar 750 South 2nd Street Minneapolis, MN, 55401 United States (map)

Our connection to the food we eat is more important than ever! From understanding our environmental impact to the role we can play in maintaining vital farming communities – what we eat and who we support with our food dollars matter. Minnesota Cooks shines a spotlight on the important role that consumers play in building and maintaining a healthy local food system.

In this can’t-miss meeting, Minnesota Cooks team members Claudine Arndt and Katie Cannon will introduce you to the legislation and education initiatives of the Minnesota Farmers Union which support our local food system. Claudine and Katie will also share a few stories behind their work on ‘The Farmer and the Chef.’

We will gather at Farmers Kitchen + Bar, the local foods restaurant and coffee bar wholly owned by Minnesota Farmers Union. Enjoy bites prepared by their talented restaurant team. Full menu is available for purchase after the meeting if attendees wish to stay and enjoy their delicious breakfast or lunch menu!
