Join Women Who Really Cook for an evening of connection, generosity, and community in support of the Sue Zelickson Scholarship Fund. WWRC members, friends, and the broader food and hospitality community are all welcome!
The Carry It Forward Fundraiser marks the culmination of WWRC’s month-long Carry It Forward initiative, inspired by our founder, Sue Zelickson, and the way she lived: making connections, opening doors, seeing the potential in people, and helping bring their ideas to life.
On October 13, we will carry that example forward by helping open doors for the next generation.
Throughout the evening, we will shine a light on the remarkable young women who have received the Sue Zelickson Scholarship. We will hear about their studies, where they hope to go next, and how our community can help them get there. This is an opportunity to show up for the next generation and invest in their futures through mentorship, connections, encouragement, opportunities, and financial support. Just like Sue did.
Ticket proceeds will benefit the Sue Zelickson Scholarship Fund, stewarded by the Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation.
What to Expect
This will be a casual, cocktail-style gathering with appetizers, desserts, a cash bar, and plenty of time to connect and share stories with friends and peers from across Minnesota’s food and hospitality community.

About the Sue Zelickson Scholarship Fund
Established through Women Who Really Cook and stewarded by the Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation, the Sue Zelickson Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to women pursuing post-secondary education in culinary arts, hospitality, foodservice, food science, and other food-related fields.
Parking & Transportation
The Lynhall (2640 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55408) has an on-site parking lot with limited space, and free street parking is available on nearby streets. Because on-site parking is limited, guests are encouraged to carpool or use a rideshare when possible.
