Join us for a delightful morning of networking, learning, and delicious food at our September Women Who Really Cook meeting, co-hosted by local food industry icons, Angie Gustafson and Beth Dooley, at Angie's Lake Harriet home.

Start your day with a nourishing breakfast featuring Gustola Granola and baked goods made with Kernza®, along with a spread of yogurt, fresh fruit, egg dishes, coffee, juice, and mimosas.

Come early or stay late to walk around the beautiful Lake Harriet with food friends on a beautiful fall morning!



A celebrated food and travel writer, Beth is the author of numerous cookbooks including In Winter's Kitchen, Savory Sweet, Minnesota's Bounty, and the James Beard award-winning The Sioux Chef's Indigenous Kitchen. Her latest book, The Perennial Kitchen: Simple Recipes for a Healthy Future, focuses on regenerative agriculture. Beth also writes a column for the Star Tribune and appears monthly on KARE 11 TV and MPR. Her books will be available for purchase at the event.


Angie Gustafson is a dynamic and visionary entrepreneur who transformed her early experiences in corporate and grassroots international development into a successful CPG food brand, Gustola Granola. In addition to her achievements in the food industry, Angie is the author of a self-published, award-winning children's book.

 



Our gathering will feature a breakfast buffet of wholesome and delicious offerings, followed by an inspiring conversation with Angie and Beth. They will share their journeys in food entrepreneurship—Angie in the consumer packaged goods sector, and Beth in writing and advocating for climate-smart and regenerative agriculture.

Guests are encouraged to come early or stay late to walk or run around the beautiful Lake Harriet with food friends on what we hope will be a sunny fall morning. This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded women in the food industry, gain valuable insights from two trailblazers, and enjoy a relaxing morning in a picturesque setting. Parking: The house sits on a one-way, circling Lake Harriet counterclockwise, 2 houses to south of South/Southeast Beach. There are a handful of FREE street spots in front of the house, more NE along the Parkway, and many more behind on Park Dr, Irving and James Avenues (see map below).
