WWRC July Meeting: Market Meetup @ Mill City Farmers Market

  • Mill City Farmers Market 750 South 2nd Street Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55401 United States (map)

Join Women Who Really Cook for a special July gathering at the Mill City Farmers Market (MCFM) as we celebrate their 20th Anniversary!

Hear from MCFM staff and board members about the market’s impact, mission, and what makes it such a beloved cornerstone of our local food system.

Learn shopping tips and seasonal meal ideas to help you make the most of your market haul! From there, enjoy optional guided tours led by MCFM’s Development Committee - or explore at your own pace as you shop, eat, and connect with the incredible lineup of local farmers, food makers, and artists.

About Mill City Farmers Market

Mill City Farmers Market is Minneapolis’ trusted source for local, sustainable, and seasonal food, bringing together over 115 rotating farmers, food makers, and artists every Saturday, May through October.

Founded in 2006 by farm-to-table chef Brenda Langton, MCFM is a nonprofit dedicated to building a vibrant, local food economy through direct farmer-to-consumer connections, education, and community engagement.

Vendors are carefully selected to prioritize 100% grower-produced foods and locally sourced ingredients - ensuring that every purchase supports regional agriculture and small businesses.

Beyond shopping, the market offers cooking classes, live music, yoga, and educational programming for all ages, making it a true community hub.
