n this fun summer Friday field trip, we'll be bussing down to Waseca, MN - about a 50 minutes drive from the Twin Cities - for a great afternoon/evening of food, libations and (hopefully) sunshine!

Emily Knudsen, Co-Owner of Pleasant Grove Pizza Farm and Women Who Really Cook board member, turned her dream into reality with her life and business partner, Bill Bartz.
They started in 2014 with a 55-acre farm and a vision.
In a quest to provide a unique outdoor experience for visitors, utilize the beautiful land they inhabit, connect with their local farming community, and grow agritourism in the Waseca area, Bill and Emily dreamed up and brought to life the Pleasant Grove Pizza Farm.
With a background in event planning, event management, team coordination and public speaking, Emily has brought so much more than delicious pizza to her local community!
Their hope is to attract anyone and everyone from Blooming Grove Township and far, to enjoy yummy food, the beautiful landscape, amazing music, and wonderful company.
Pizza samples, wine and other light snacks will be provided. Full size pizzas and additional beverages available for purchase, but feel free to BYOB for the bus ride!
Note: We will be sitting outside on the pizza farm and touring the garden so dress appropriately! In the event of rain, festivities will take place inside the barn.
Bus Pickup Location: Southtown Shopping Center Target Parking Lot, 2555 W 79th St, Bloomington, MN 55431 (Bus will be located at the North side of the parking lot and will leave promptly at 2:00 PM to arrive at the farm by 3 PM. We will leave the farm at 5 PM to arrive back to Southtown at approx. 6 PM)
